Free Printable “Thinking of You” Cards

Free Printable “Thinking of You” Cards

Social distancing.  I’d never even heard of such a thing until a week ago.  And now it’s everyone’s new reality.  Schools and businesses closed. Church services cancelled.  Recreational and social gatherings all put on hold while we hunker down and wonder how long this “new normal” will last.

Listening to the radio a couple days ago, I heard one of the announcers take issue with the term “social” distancing.   “I wish we’d just call it physical distancing,” she said.  “Because I think it’s important for us to all do what we can to stay social while we’re going through this hard time.”

I don’t expect current terminology to change, but I do like the heart behind what that radio announcer said:

We might be physically isolated for awhile,  but we need to stay connected.

Especially in a time of so many questions and uncertainties, we need encouragement.  We need to know we’re not in this alone. We need to be reminded that we’re loved.

My heart’s especially heavy for the most vulnerable among us:  The elderly and health-compromised individuals who’ve become especially limited in their ability to get out.  Many of them aren’t familiar with the tech-savvy communication methods the rest of us are using to stay in touch.  But a little notecard in their mailbox might mean the world to them, reminding them that they’re not forgotten.

Maybe you know a few people who are especially cut off during this time? Or someone who’s got their hands full and could use a little extra encouragement to get through?

To help us all spread some love during these difficult days, I designed a set of simple little notecards you can print right from home.  They’re a free printable you can grab simply by clicking on the blue box below.   (If you need ’em, you can grab some notecard envelopes easily here.)

(Downloads are only available to More Like Grace subscribers: By clicking the download button below, you consent to OPT-IN to our email newsletter with monthly encouragement and freebie news. Unsubscribe any time.)

CARD SIZE:  The cards measure approx. 3.75 x 5.25, which fits size A2 envelopes.  Or you can print at 90% and they will fit in standard #6 business envelopes, which you might already have on hand!

I hope these free printable cards help you brighten up someone’s day!

My wife, Eunice, is the Visitation Team Director of our church and she had asked me to find some printable “Thinking of You” and “Scripture” cards. I will print out the “Thinking of You” cards and type/copy a verse or whatever the members want added to the inside of the cards. This will certainly decrease the cost of the cards. Thank you so much for your God giving talent!!
