Looking for a way to make mom—or grandma—feel extra special during this year’s Mother’s Day celebration? These free printable cards give you a great way to express your appreciation and love for them.
It’s always nice to say “Happy Mother’s Day!” But it’s even more special when you take the time to thoughtfully share why you appreciate your mom. That’s why I designed these free printable Mother’s Day cards. They don’t offer a poem written by someone else, but actually put the focus on your words, your reasons for loving your mom.
(And also: Who really wants to pay $5.99 for a card these days?!)
The little cards come in a set of 4 designs, and each one offers room for you to write a favorite memory, a blessing, or a reason you love your mom. (There’s actually two sets: One for moms. One for grandmas.)
A few quick suggestions for how you might use them at this year’s Mother’s Day celebration:
1. Fill all 4 cards out personally and tie them together with a pretty ribbon. Use in place of a traditional mother’s day card.
2. Print off enough cards for everyone in your family: Invite your husband and kids to join you in filling out the cards. Tie together with a ribbon or twine. (Add a small silk flower tucked in the bow for a pretty touch.)
3. If you are hosting a meal for Mother’s Day, print enough cards for each guest. Hand them out as they arrive, or set one card at each place setting to add a lovely decoration to your table. After guests have filled out the cards, invite them to share their words out loud with mom/grandma.
However you put them to use, I hope these little notes will add joy to your mom’s heart this year. Happy Mother’s Day!
